AiAgent Debian Package Installation

We are happy to announce, general availability of AiAgent as Debian package. This article explains a single step process of installing AiAgent on your IOT gateways, servers, and storage units, running Debian based Operating System.

AiAgent is a lightweight agent which collects operational telemetry from IoT gateways, compute servers, communication devices, and storage equipment. Operational telemetry provides deep visibility into the system operational conditions. This can provide actionable insights for the optimal operation of the devices and systems. IOT deployments and digital transformation solutions must operate optimally and with maximum uptime. AiKaan’s Edge Controller along with AiAgent helps IT and OT engineers to operate, manage, control and debug IOT deployments in complex edge fog networks.

AiAgent can also run as a docker application, this blog gives steps to install docker based AiAgent on a Dell Gateway.

Get AiAgent and install

To install AiAgent, follow the single step process of running the curl command. Login into the AiKaan Edge controller, navigate to the device group page of the target device. Download (copy) the curl command and run on the device.
